Oh…it’s that time of year…to change the clocks BACK. Heavy sigh. That means it will get dark very early starting this weekend. But, I have it on good authority that this is the last time we will have to do this. Really, the legislature passed a law to leave Daylight Saving Time in place next year.
It also means it’s holidy bazaar season. See pages 5, 8, 9 for holiday type stuff coming up, and starting as soon as this weekend.
It’s also a reminder that our annual shopping issue will be coming up in a couple of weeks. Only regular advertisers get their name/logo on the cover, so order your ad right away. C’mon, buisness owners, give my readers a reason to walk in there…advertise with the Neighb News.
The town is considering an overlay district that would allow things like apartments above big box stores, and other creative ideas. The Friday meeting includes a tour, so that should be fun. Oh, and food, too. So, no excuses. Don’t be shocked when they’re building apartments over Regal House (what a view!). See page 3 for details.
