Calling all Halloween yards. Last call!
C’mon people, I’ve only gotten a couple. I know you’re out there. I need your addresses, pics, etc. this weekend so I can get the Halloween Trail issue out on 10/20. We want it early so you can get ready, right?
Meanwhile, there are a bunch of parades, trunk or treats, and other Halloween events planned all over the place. See pages 5, 8, 9, for some of them. You’ll be having mucho fun if you try to get to them all.
This past weekend was full of fun, too. The Kids Fest had lots of activities, vendors, and just a festive fall atmosphere. They even had a costume contest. See page 12 for that.
Just a couple more weeks and we’ll be having our Horribles parade down Main Street, one of my favorite events. See Save the Date on page 5 for details.
The Fire Department was also back with its open house this weekend. They got to show off some of their skills and the equipment they use. No big fire this year…alas, I guess we can’t do that anymore. But we had smoke and little fires, and climbing on trucks and breaking up cars. See page 13 for that.
Acushnet has its special Town Meeting in a few days. See page 16 for a preview of the articles they’ll be voting on.
Speaking of voting….early voting for the 11/8 election starts next week. See page 3 for dates and times in your town.
There’s aother stuff in here of course. While you’re looking for it, please note who our advertisers are so you can tell them you saw their ads in the Neighb News.
Until next week then…see ya,
Glory to Ukraine!
Glory to the Heroes!
