Volunteers clean up Palmers Island

Fifty-five volunteers picked up 31 bags of trash and other large debris such as fish totes, wood, styrofoam, and lots of rope, from Palmers Island in New Bedford Harbor on Saturday, 9/24/22.

The cleanup was just one in a series of litter cleanups sponsored by Operation Clean Sweep. Find them on Facebook or email newbedfordclean@gmail.com.
