Fairhaven Fire Department will host a Child Safety Seat Installation and Inspection Event on Sat., 9/3, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Senior Ctr/Rec Ctr parking lot, 227-229 Huttleston Ave., Fairhaven (near Stop & Shop).
To ensure the safety of all children that travel in automobiles, we are holding a Child Safety Seat Event to have your NEW and/or CURRENT child safety seat inspected and/or installed by one of our certified technicians. This event will not only cover inspections & installations but will also be an educational event to inform you of the hows, whens and wheres of properly securing a child in a car seat. We will cover the appropriate type, style, and installation location of child safety seats.
Our goal is to give peace of mind knowing that your child will be secured for the safest means of travel in your vehicle.
