Beginning Monday, March 21, 2022, and continuing through Friday, April 1, 2022, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will implement a closure of the main parking lot at Fort Phoenix State Reservation at the corner of Green Street and Beacon Street in the Town of Fairhaven to accommodate resurfacing operations and curb installation work.
The smaller parking lot at the corner of Fort Street and Beacon Street, and the auxiliary parking lot on the east end of the property will remain open to the public. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and a police detail will be on site.
