\Fairhaven police are investigating a car accident at Hoppy’s Landing last week. A vehicle hit one of the support beams on Thursday afternoon, 2/24/22. Surveillance video shows a car hit the beam at about 2:30 p.m., according to Fairhaven Police spokesperson Lt. Kevin Kobza. He said the registration, with Connecticut plates, led back to Alamo Car Rental. Lt. Kobza said the mattter was still under investigation. “It does not appear to be malicious at all,” said Lt. Kobza.
