The US Coast Guard Auxiliary’s Flotilla 65 will be starting its 14-week Boating Skills & Seamanship Course on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 7-9 pm through May 2, 2022 at 80 Middle Street, Fairhaven, MA 02719
This 14-week comprehensive course is designed for both the experienced and the novice boater.
It is a perfect introduction to recreational boating’s fundamentals, such as: choosing, equipping, trailering and handling a small to midsize boat; rules of the road; how to: read a chart and chart plotter; make a May Day call; handle on-water emergencies; tie ropes/lines; and understand weather.
The $45 fee includes the textbook, workbook, and all course materials.
