The City of New Bedford holds regular vaccine clinics. If you have not been vaccinated, need your second shot, or need the booster, you can walk in without an appointment at several sites in the city. You do NOT have to be a New Bedford resident to take advantage of the clinics. There is no cost to you for the shot.

Regular local vaccine clinics include Mondays from 2 to 7 p.m. at Andrea McCoy Recreation Center, 181 Hillman St.; Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at former Fire Station 11, 754 Brock Ave; and Fridays from 1 to 5 p.m. at PAACA, 360 Coggeshall St.

Other sites are also available on a week to week basis. Keep an eye on our Happenings Overtown on page 8. Visit https://www.newbedford-ma.gov/health-department/coronavirus.
