A pastor’s wife learns that an old school friend, now a famous actor, is coming to town and would like to catch up with her. Unfortunately, her husband objects: Their church frowns upon theatrics. Meanwhile, a church volunteer is excited about the opportunity to promote the career of her wildly untalented daughter. When the actor sets out to prove that anyone can be convinced that they have dramatic talent, hilarity ensues.
“Finders Keepers”
directed by James Sanguinetti
Mrs. Aldrid finds a purse containing four hundred dollars. Of course her husband thinks that she intends to return the purse, but Mrs. Aldrid offers Mr. Aldrid a distressing look into her true character when she announces that she will keep it. Even when they learn that the money belongs to a very good friend, she doesn’t change her mind. Mr. Aldrid changes it for her in the ensuing action which puts her in her place.
