Fourth annual Pumpkin Parade on the historic grounds of theotch-Jones-Duff House & Garden Museum (RJD), 396 County St., NB. Visit www.rjdmuseum.orgon Thurs., 10/14, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The public is invited to visit the gardens of the Museum to see a display of Jack-O-Lanterns created by community members. Carved pumpkins will be displayed throughout the garden, and especially along the winding “woodland walk.” At 6:00 p.m., Cool Banana Wig performs, bringing kids up to play homemade or unusual instruments and JAM with the band. Inside the historic mansion, children will be able to participate in a scavenger hunt. The mansion will be open at limited capacity due to COVID safety precautions, and visitors must remain masked while indoors. Costumes are encouraged at this family-friendly event, and children will be able to take home a sweet treat after their visit.
A suggested donation of $5 for individuals or $10 per family is optional at the door. This event is also part of AHA night. All proceeds support the preservation of the Museum’s gardens.
