Young women from across Greater New Bedford have the chance to win not only the crown, but thousands of dollars in scholarship money, a year of service to the community, and a spot in both state competitions happening in 2022.
Enjoy an afternoon of fun and excitement — whether you’re supporting a contestant or not! Be your own judge using the scoring section in our program book!
Candidates will compete in multiple phases of on-stage competition, ranging from talent to on-stage questions and evening wear. Prior to the competition, each candidate will also be scored in a private interview with the judges panel.
Special entertainment will also be provided by the Cheryl McCormack Academy of Dance, Miss New Bedford Troupe of former titleholders, and other special guests including Alyssa Maitoza, Miss New Bedford, and Ericka Correia, Miss New Bedford’s Outstanding Teen.
