The Fairhaven Preservation Committee and the Fairhaven Cultural Council are both accepting applications until 10/15/21. Letters of interest for the CPC should be submitted by 9/17/21.
Community Preservation Committee Applications
The Fairhaven Community Preservation Committee is now accepting applications for the 2021 (FY23) CPC funding round. The deadline for full applications will be October 15, 2021. The CPC will also be accepting Letters of Interest from parties who want feedback before submitting a final application. Letters of Interest for consideration for FY23 should be submitted to the Planning Department in Town Hall by September 17, 2021.
The FY23 Letters of Interest forms, Submission Guidelines and Application forms are available on the Town’s Web Site on the Community Preservation Committee’s page: https://www.fairhaven-ma.gov/community-preservation-committee
The FY23 revised Community Preservation Plan will be reviewed and approved at the September 22, 2021 CPC Meeting and a draft plan for public comment is also available on the Fairhaven CPC website.
Activities that can be funded are:
• Acquisition, creation and preservation of Open Space.
• Creation, preservation and support of Community Housing.
• Acquisition, creation and preservation of Historic Resources.
• Acquisition, creation and preservation of land for Recreational Use.

Fairhaven Cultural Council Applications
The Fairhaven Cultural Council is pleased to announce it is currently accepting grant applications for the 2022 calendar year. Applicants can apply online at https://massculturalcouncil.org/local-council/fairhaven/. Applications are due no later than October 15, 2021.
Each year, the Fairhaven Cultural Council, a local organization supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and Town of Fairhaven, awards Local Cultural Council grants to support arts and cultural projects that directly benefit our community. Grants are made possible by funds from the Commonwealth and Town of Fairhaven.
Priority is given to:
• First-time applicants in Fairhaven
• Projects that demonstrate a clear benefit to Fairhaven residents
• Grants for programs or projects that take place in and/or are specifically related to the culture and history of Fairhaven
