The Livesey Club of Fairhaven partnered with Alltrust Credit Union to refurbish the flagpole at Livesey Park.
Helping with the work were members Richard Souza, Steve Perry, Dave Darmofal, Leo Tremblay, David Tremblay and his friend Joe Souza.
We also want to thank the Fire Department, Chief Correia and the two firefighters who assisted with the lowering and raising of the pole.
Once painted and the pole was in place, new line and hardware were installed. Along with the new hardware a solar LED light was placed on top with a new gold ball.
We want all to know that the Livesey Club has taken responsibility for maintaining the site and replacing the flag at the park. We also want to thank the Alltrust Credit Union for their willingness to support our town.
