Culture*Park CALLS for Short Plays for the 18th Short Plays Marathon, scheduled for Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the New Bedford Whaling Museum Theatre, downtown New Bedford, MA. The Short Plays Marathon will feature staged readings of up to 25 new and current plays.
We are seeking plays reflective of the social and political times we live in!
We welcome plays by seasoned playwrights, new writers, and students. “Journal Plays” reflecting COVID, quarantine, and current times, are, of course, welcome. This year’s Marathon will also feature plays by playwrights from Climate Change Action Theatre, an international initiative.
Deadline for play submissions to reach Culture*Park is, Saturday, September 04, 2021. Plays will be read by a committee of theater artists and writers.
