• Baby Storytime Every Tuesday, 9:30 AM Bond with your baby over books! Each weekly Baby Storytime includes early literacy fun with stories, songs, play, and lots of snuggles and love. Baby Storytime happens outside on the library lawn. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, shade or whatever you need to be comfortable. This event is weather dependent, we will call you if storytime is canceled. Recommended 0-18 months.
• Animal Trivia: Deserts Friday, July 23, 2:00 PMśJoin us for trivia on the library lawn! Play as a team to answer questions about desert animals like fennec foxes, burrowing owls, horned lizards and more. We will be using the Kahoot app. This event is for families and kids, recommended 8+ (younger siblings are welcome!).
• Bottle Rockets Wednesday, Aug. 5 at 10:00 PM Join Toby Dills and learn the science behind bottle rockets. Construct your own rockets and watch them blast-off on the Unitarian Church lawn. Rain date is the following day, Friday, at the same time. We will call you if the event is rescheduled.
• Animal Trivia: Thursday, Aug. 12 at 2:00 PM Join us for trivia on the library lawn. This event is for families and kids, recommended ages 8+ (younger siblings are welcome!). Play as a team to answer questions about the most biodiverse region of our world, and its many wonderful and colorful creatures! We will be using the Kahoot app.
• Millicent Library’s Annual Teddy Bear Parade – Saturday, Aug. 14 at 10:00 PM Bring your favorite teddy bear (or any stuffed animal), and enjoy the fun! This year’s Teddy Bear Parade will feature snacks, bubbles, and a show from Daisy D. Dotts.
