Press Release
Project 351, an independent nonprofit organization that builds a movement of youth-led service, engages eighth grade Ambassadors from each of the 351 cities and towns in Massachusetts in a 12-month program of service learning, leadership development, and civic engagement.
Hometown educators select each class of eighth grade Ambassadors. Educators select Ambassadors who have demonstrated an exemplary ethic of service and the values of kindness, compassion, humility, and gratitude.
United for a year of leadership and service, Ambassadors transform communities, elevate kindness, advance social justice, and gain the courage, compassion, and capabilities to lead change.
Our Project 351 Ambassador from Elizabeth Hastings Middle School in Fairhaven, James Delucia, collected new and gently used clothing for a non-profit organization called Cradles to Crayons.
