Enough is enough
Enough is Enough with this Selectboard Chairman. Yet another week has gone by and Mr. Freitas’s corrupt and incompetent behavior has been lowered to the level of outright negligence of his duty as a Selectboard chair. He failed to even bother to show up to the last Selectboard meeting and is refusing to even schedule one this week, all without explanation. This is the definition of dereliction of duty, all while we still have no legitimate Town Administrator. Please don’t mistake being tired of hearing about the same terrible behavior with being complacent and allowing it to continue. This failure of a chairman needs to resign immediately or be removed from office.
Remember this time last year when you were told there would be “change”? It should be clear to all that this change has all been for the worse. This has been a year of failure and corruption from Mr. Freitas and Mr. Silvia.
Seriously, if Mr. Silvia can’t even discuss or vote on the most important issue the board faces, why is he even there? It’s abundantly clear that Mr. Freitas only wanted a silent conspirator for his corrupt agenda, and this year he’s trying to add another. We cannot let that happen. I believe the biggest mistake we can make as voters right now is to become numb to this outrageous behavior and list of failures.
Mr. Espindola has demonstrated transparent and honest leadership this past year (and every year of his tenure) and we desperately need his service to continue to prevent a total collapse of that Selectboard. Please join me in voting for Bob Espindola’s re-election on Tuesday, April 5th.
