On March 11 the Unitarian Universalist Society of Fairhaven (UUSF) will join grassroots people of diverse religions from around the world in sounding the alarm about the climate crisis. This multi-faith, global day of action organized by @GreenFaith is called Sacred People, Sacred Earth.
The Unitarian Memorial Church on Green Street (#CathedralByTheSea) will ring its bells 100 times at 11 am on March 11 to signal that it’s the 11 th hour for local climate action. UUSF urges local organizations to follow its lead and switch to 100-percent renewable electricity by 2030 by signing on to The Climate Reality Project’s 100% Committed campaign, as the church community did in November.
