This program will feature a performance by Aleksander Hauge which was recorded recently in Karmøy, Norway. The performance features footage of Karmøy and the Fishermen’s Memorial as well as 13 songs, some of which are in Norwegian and others in English.
This concert is a part of our series of programs related to our latest exhibit, We Came to Fish, We Came to Work: Stories of Immigration. This exhibit explores stories of immigration and cultural heritage on New Bedford’s working waterfront.
