Parades are canceled due to the pandemic, including Fairhaven’s annual Veterans Day Parade, and Acushnet’s annual memorial service.
But Acushnet has organized a Veteran’s Day Fly-over with a USCG MH60 Helicopter, on Wed., 11/11, 10:00-10:30 a.m.
The Fly-Over is weather contingent, and may be canceled should a USCG emergency arise.
There is ample parking at the Veteran’s Memorial at Pope Park to allow many residents the opportunity to view this event.
