Thank you to the Fairhaven Selectboard
My name is Willow Berg, and I am a junior at Fairhaven High School. I would like to thank the Fairhaven selectboard for adding the 10% in renewables to our aggregation contract. I am so grateful that the motion was passed, and our town representatives are thinking of the planet and my future. This was such a big step for the town of Fairhaven to take in the prevention of effects of climate change. Climate change is such an important issue, and it is so critical that it is taken seriously in order to make the adjustments needed in order for my generation and future generations to have a future. This motion will be a positive change and push towards a healthier planet, and a lasting community for generations to come. Another thank you to the Fairhaven selectboard and the futures they ensured by passing the motion for increasing our electricity renewables.
