Acushnet COA goes outdoors

September 2, 2020 by Staff Writer

After researching tent rentals in order to be able to offer safe, socially distanced outside programming, the Acushnet Council on Aging and Senior Center decided the cost was prohibitive. Building inspector Jim Marot, a huge COA supporter, stepped up and offered to design and build an amazing covered patio behind the Senior Center. The target date to start programming is next week.
