Children in the Kool Kids February vacation program participated in a variety of events this week, including ball games like dodgeball, soccer, tag, arts and crafts, and other games meant to encourage a lot of movement and exercise.
The program, run by the Fairhaven Recreation Center, is for children in grades K–5, and includes a pizza party on Friday. Neighb News photographer Glenn C. Silva visited the program on Tuesday, and although 1/3 of the 18 registered participants were out sick, the remaining 12 had lots of fun. Summer Camp Registration will be on April 25th and May 2nd. To learn more call the Rec Center at 508-993-9269, and see their listings on page 14.
