After a few days of stormy, wet weather, Sunday broke out as a summer-like day with temperatures nearing 70 degrees. People took to the water in these parts, the beach, the boats and the fishing spots to take advantage of summer’s last hurrah.

- Gene Schultz takes advantage of the nice weather on Sunday, 10/13/19, by fishing from the jetty off the bike path in Little Bay in Fairhaven. When asked if he had caught anything, Mr. Schultz replied, “No, but that’s why it’s called fishing and not catching.”
