Acushnet to host annual Cruise Night
Join us in the center of town for Acushnet’s 9th Annual Cruise Night on Thurs., 8/30, from 5–9:00 p.m., Town Hall & Parting Ways Green.
Check out the fabulous classic cars, enjoy some great food from our vendors, and dance to the oldies and today’s tunes on the Town Green! Music by The Klassics. This event is brought to you by the Town of Acushnet and the Acushnet Celebration Committee.

The Acushnet Police is proud to announce our new partnership with the Acushnet Creamery!! The Acushnet Creamery has graciously donated “Positive Citations” which will be handed out by APD Officers to youngsters spotted “doing the right thing”!
The “Citation” is good for one “Kiddie” cone ice cream at all three of the Acushnet Creamy locations!! A big thank you to our friends at the Acushnet Creamery!!

Buy a Brick in the Veterans Memorial Park in Acushnet
Be a lasting part of the Acushnet Veterans Memorial Park by purchasing a brick for an individual who has, or is, serving in the U.S. Military.
The cost of each brick is $50. Bricks will be placed randomly. Bricks may be purchased by any individual or family member in honor of someone currently serving or still alive today, or in memory of someone who has served and passed away. Three lines of 13 characters (including spaces) will fit on each brick. Line one must list whether the brick is in memory of or in honor of, e.g., “In Memory of.” Line two must list the person’s name; line three must list the rank and branch of the service. Abbreviations for branches are: USN (Navy); USCG (Coast Guard), USM (Marines); USA (Army); USAF (Air Force).
Clearly print or type information, and include your complete contact information (name, full address, phone and email). Make checks payable to the “Acushnet Veterans Memorial Park” (AVMP), PO Box 30068, Acushnet, MA 02743. AVMP is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization, Tax ID #27-3797274
