Trinity Lutheran Church and Church of the Good Shepherd will hold a Community Blessing of the Animals service on Sun., 9/25, at Livesey Park in North Fairhaven.
Pastor Paul Wheeler, of Trinity Lutheran Church, will administer individual blessings to each pet. Pets should be on a leash or in a container.
This service is held each year in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi, who showed kindness to and loved all animals. Everyone is welcome.
